  • 1. How to Build Successful Innovation Ecosystems November 5 (10:00 - 11:00)

    This expert panel discussion features Kurt Höller, Director of Business Creation at EIT Health, and Shahida Saleem, Managing Trustee of the PEP Foundation. The experts will share their insights, success strategies, discuss do's and don'ts, and reveal how they built their respective villages. This panel discussion continues with concurrent, expert-led workshops focused on specific regions and developing strategic action plans.

  • 2. How to Create Value for Your Client Startups: Access to Funding November 5 (16:30 - 17:30)

    As a concurrent workshop to the main topic, How to Create Value for Your Program, this session is led by innovation experts Sven De Cleyn, Program Manager of imec.istart and Ronald Stubblefield, Assistant Director of ETC. These powerhouse innovators will lead the discussion groups of six to eight participants in their analysis of the topic using the Challenge, Action, Result (CAR) method.

  • 3. Better Together – How to Reap the Most Rewards from Industry Associations November 6 (11:30 - 12:30)

    Leading this panel discussion is Laura Očagova, Business Incubator Department Director of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia. During this fascinating session, participants will explore networking, knowledge sharing, best-practices, training resources, competency development resources, and other benefits of joining an industry association.

  • 4. From Lecture Hall to Makerspace – How to Optimize Incubator/AcceleratorUniversity Partnerships November 6 (11:30 - 12:30)

    Under the expert guidance of Jane Liu, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Business Incubation Association (CBIA), this panel will inspire participants by sharing their own experience in how they developed their service offerings and how to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities associated with academic institutions. This session will impart solid advice on how programs can help universities rethink their role in creating the next generation of entrepreneurs.

  • 5. How to Optimize Incubator/Accelerator – University Partnerships November 6 (15:00 - 16:00)

    This concurrent workshop to the panel discussion led by Jane Liu puts Juha Pettari Peralamp, Manager, Business Incubator, Qatar University, in the driver’s seat. During this session, six to eight participants will receive expert guidance to analyze the synergistic partnerships that exist between business incubators/accelerators and universities.

  • 6. Doha Ecosystem Tour November 7 (10:00)
